Our technology is focused on a solution for a low cost digital immunoassay for the Point-of-Care sectors. Digital means the result is output as a digital signal and usually read as text or digits on a low cost display integrated with the disposable chip.

By comparing the flow rate in a test capillary to a comparator capillary, the effect of environmental factors can be corrected for. The change in flow rate in the test capillary is dependent on the concentration of analyte in the sample. Detection is binary (i.e. presence or absence of liquid) which creates a digital output at low instrument cost. CAT therefore avoids infringement of other patents and is protected by patents covering different aspects of the technology
